Koss Porta Pro & KPH40 IEM Cable Adapter Modification Kit

Allows the use of a detachable IEM cable with your Koss headphones as well as IEM Bluetooth cable adapters. Whether you're trying to upgrade your headphones for practicality or personalise the look of your headphones with a new cable, this kit makes it possible with no stress.

This kit is compatible with the following Koss headphones:

This can be a difficult mod to get both clean and correct following popular methods, a lot of people I know have destroyed or ruined their headphones trying to upgrade them. With this kit there is no need to get an accurate print, source screws or deal with any messy drilling or glue, the margin for error disappears with this kit, if you can solder and re-solder a wire, you're good to go.

Simply de-solder the existing cable, assemble the adapter kit, solder the wires to the solder pads and attach using the supplied screws. It's the easiest, smallest, cleanest and most durable option available to add a detachable IEM cable or IEM Bluetooth adapter cable to your Koss headphones.

A lot of effort went into designing and refining the 3D printed parts, sourcing the perfect fasteners, as well as the litz wire & lead free high silver content solder.

This kit includes:

🟣 1 Pair of 3D printed IEM cable adapters
🟣 A set of 4 Screws, required to secure the assembled adapter to the headphone
🟣 If selected, a pair of IEM connectors pre-soldered with pre-tinned litz cable, ready for installation

Instructions:

Install the IEM connector into the printed adapter. Solder the red wire to the right solder pad, the blue wire to the left (see images). Then attach with supplied screws. You're done.

To be clear, the £6 option includes the 3d printed adapters, the £12 option also includes the pre-soldered IEM connectors.

The adapters come as a pair in a kit, one kit will modify 2 drivers.
